About Evan Hunt
I’ve had the honor of serving our federal government since college. After the attacks of September 11th, I made a life-changing decision: I left behind plans for law school and joined the United States Air Force.
After years of training, I flew my first combat mission over Afghanistan. Every mission reinforced a critical truth: great power demands even greater responsibility.
Throughout my military service — and later as a Squadron Commander and defense executive — I lived by one guiding principle: it’s not just what we do that matters, but how we do it.
Today, I feel called once again to serve — this time as your next Congressman for Texas’ 3rd Congressional District.
Why I’m Running
America faces serious challenges, including:
- Erosion of our Constitutional Republic
- Weakening global alliances
- Rising healthcare and insurance costs
- A turbulent economy
- Deepening political divisions
We need leaders who can strengthen our borders, streamline government, rebuild American manufacturing, and pursue trade deals that truly benefit American workers — all while maintaining principle and unity.
What we don’t need are politicians who:
- Celebrate bullies
- Defy the rule of law
- Fuel division
- Cozy up to authoritarian regimes
We need steady leadership, integrity, and courage — not just slogans and political theater.
A Message to Voters of TX-03
I am proud to be a husband, a father, a defense executive, and a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force.
I’ve lived in McKinney for nearly seven years. My children attend public schools here. My family loves this district and the country we are honored to serve.
Now, I ask for the opportunity to represent you — to bring principled leadership back to Washington.
