Meet Randy

Randy Farrar is a self-employed attorney who practices regularly in Justice of the Peace courts across Collin County and the surrounding area.

After a career in finance, Farrar pursued what he describes as a lifelong goal of practicing law, attending law school in his late forties.

He says his courtroom experience gives him a direct understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of the office and the needs of residents appearing before the court.

Farrar and his wife Veronica have lived in Precinct 4 for 16 years.

“Serving as Justice of the Peace has been a 20-year dream of mine.”

“JP court handles real cases that matter – traffic tickets, evictions, small claims up to $20,000, arrest warrants, and Class C misdemeanors. The people of Precinct 4 deserve a judge who walks into that courtroom on day one ready to serve. I am that candidate.”

Why I’m Running

Farrar says voters deserve a judge with courtroom experience, legal knowledge, and an understanding of how Justice of the Peace courts operate.

He has emphasized that he is the only licensed attorney in the JP Precinct 4 runoff race and says that distinction matters for residents who appear before the court.
